An ethnic house in the olden times...
The whole mural...
A lone Papaya tree growing and fruiting in the middle of rocks...
Yep, that's how tall it is!
Another mural, a different tree at a different place :)
This cow seems to be saying, "What you lookin' at?" (lol)
The weekend dashed in quietly... well, it's been so for as long as I can remember. There isn't any noise so I can really hear some tunes in my head plus the birds chorusing out the yard. Makes me wish I could decipher what they are singing about. But I would guess... they are grateful too on seeing the light of a new day just as I am.
It's a new dawn...
It's a new day...
It's a new life for me...
And I'm feelin' good!
Well, that's what my head's spinning off on its own jukebox. Sometimes I do wonder if there's another world in there 'coz it feels as though I'm watching a show without even touching a switch or a button.
Birds flying high
You know how I feel
Sun in the sky
You know how I feel
Reeds driftin' on by
You know how I feel...
And the music goes... which makes me wanna dance all day. Geez, I've already drifted so far away from what I was intending to write, lol! But these just came out naturally so I'm keeping them as they are. No filtering, no thinking hard.
Anyhow, today's photos are murals along the Kabayan-Bokod Road. They have quite a lot of street arts out there and this set is just one of them. I've already shared some on my previous posts, re:
- Revisiting Kabayan Wall

- A Dance & A Village Down There
- Bit of History Through Brushstrokes
And here are a few information about the pictures:

Obviously, those are not murals but I immediately thought of them when I saw the tree on the street paintings. We pulled over for the husband to check the map. There were no residences nearby and I was baffled how a papaya end up growing in the midst of all the rocks surrounding it. The husband had this really funny theory that someone may have eaten papaya with a seed on it and then made a dump at that place. The papaya seed germinated and fought for its dear life and grew, lol!

The husband was suggesting we'd go to Bokod where the water dam was when I noticed the mural and quickly photographed it. By the looks of it, the painting is new but I couldn't grasp what the huge print "Koral Tugay-an" meant. Might be a landmark or something. I was unable to find anything about it on the web. Pardon me for the last shot, the car was already speeding when I took that shot.
We ended up not going to the dam nor to the mummy cave for it was closed. We turned around after a quick stop and me picking up some brownish stones which I'm yet to use to decorate my plant pots.
Happy weekend, everyone!
