Savory ribs (The husband's).
My plate.
Not so spicy Ramyun.
Two bowls of them.

Another view from up there.
We had a quick lunch on Saturday while on our way to my in-law's place. The husband still has not fully recovered from the flu and his tastebud was wanting something different. He ordered the honey-glazed chicken and I went for the specially-marinated pork ribs. Then he added a set of Ramyun soup which he specifically requested to be less-spicy because he was still coughing and I also can't take too much spice.
Some minutes later, he was informed by one of the staffs that his order is not available. There were quite a number of things on the menu which were marked "Temporarily Unavailable" and we just assumed it is probably because of the limited power supply. They were using gas-powered generator which they placed beside the stairs down the basement but we can still hear the buzzing machine up in the Balcony.
Anyway, the husband had no other choice from the available options so he went witt the same dish as mine. Our orders were served some 20 minutes later and off we went with our meals.
The pork ribs were flavorful, marinated and seasoned quite well. The meat tender, tasty and savory but we thought the sauce was rather too sweet. The fruit and veggie salad (slices of apple, cucumber, tomato) on the sides kind of gave balance to the dish though so it was good. The ramyun was less spicy just as the hubby requested. I was not able to finish my bowl (they are the instant ones by the way) so the husband had to rescue but he could not eat them all too, lol! We shouldn't be wasting food.
From there, we drove straight to papa's place. However, he was not around for he went out attending a wake of their church mate so after checking Mr B and Mr M's crops and dropping their supplies, we headed home. The 6th and 7th photo above were captured while we were there. And the last one being a cabbage field by the bridge in the valley.
Meanwhile, it is still a dreary Wednesday for us here in the mountains. Another bedweather day. I didn't even bother to check what this weather disturbance is but it's been raining straight since Sunday morning. Wet season indeed. I did manage to have a short leg workout yesterday so it was not a totally lazy day. The walk was very beneficial and had me sleeping like a baby last night so all good...
Let's see how this day will unfold as we do what we gotta do and while we enjoy life and all its bliss!
