Back To Office Life
I've been a bit away over the past few days as I have a lot of things going on mainly so I've had to track the unhinged world of traffic into the City, Melbourne. Unfortunately I reside in a growth corridor where infrastructure can't keep up with the growth of the community. So it is over an hour and 40 minutes for a 30km drive, mainly on a freeway.
There isn't public transport yet and the trains that are availble are often full so do not stop and there is no way to access the train as parking spots are filled even before the sun rises.
But fortunately I won't have to do this too many times but there will be the odd trips in.
I'm glad COVID has provided us the opportunity to work hybrid as now I get to enjoy life and not spend most of it in a car stuck in traffic.
How has COVID changed your life? Do you still commute?
