Stockholm under clear skies - 晴天のストックホルム

The number of hours of sunlight is extremely short from November, and many people develop depression as a result. In Sweden, sunlight hours are so short in winter that the government conducts a campaign to encourage people to take vitamin D pill to prevent from having depression. Stockholm, which has often had cloudy skies from December to February, began to have more sunny days in March.

There is an open-air nature museum called "Skansen" in the city of Stockholm.　It has a zoo, where animals living in Sweden are kept and exhibited in a space that is as natural as possible.　On the grounds of the nature museum, visitors can see old houses that have been relocated from all over Sweden, and since the buildings are accessible, visitors can experience what it was like in those days.

I recommend visiting Skansen, especially if you are visiting Stockholm with your children.　It is very interesting to experience the history and climate of Sweden while visiting.

１１月から極端に日照時間が減って、それに伴いうつ病を発症する人も多く、政府がビタミンＤを接種するように促すキャンペーンを行うぐらい北欧では日照時間が冬には少なくなります。１２月から２月にかけては曇り空が多いストックホルムも、３月に入ると晴天の日が増えてきました。

ストックホルム市内には 「スカンセン」と呼ばれる野外自然博物館　があります。　動物園を併設していて、なるべく自然のようにした空間でスウェーデンに住んでいる動物を飼い展示しています。　自然博物館の敷地では、スウェーデン各地から移設された昔の作りの民家を見ることができ、建物は中にも入れるので当時の様子を肌で感じることが出来ます。

お子さんを連れてストックホルムを観光に来た際などは特にこのスカンセンに行くのをお勧めします。　スウェーデンの歴史や風土を見学しながら体験することができてとても面白いですよ。

World Heritage in Sweden - スウェーデンの世界遺産

There are 13 registered World Heritage Sites in Sweden, and I have visited one of them before, called " Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland "

As the name implies, a farmhouse in the Hälsingland region is on the World Heritage List, and farmhouses from that area have also been relocated to Skansen.

I went into one of those farmhouses to take a tour.　The interior was simple, but the living space was divided into two parts: one part was used for daily living, and the other part was used for special occasions, such as when visitors came or when the village held festivals, she explained.　The staff of Skansen, who gave us explanations, were dressed in the clothes of the time, and they were knitting inside the building, cooking meals, and recreating scenes from those days.

It is difficult to visit all of Sweden because of the large size of the country. However, Skansen exhibits buildings, animals, and plants from all over Sweden, by visiting to Skansen, so you can experience "Sweden" as if you were visiting various regions of Sweden.　I hope you enjoy it~!

スウェーデンには１３件の世界遺産が登録されているのですが、その中の 「ヘルシングランドの装飾農家群」 という世界遺産に以前訪問したことがあります。

その名前の通り、ヘルシングランド地方にある装飾された農家が世界遺産に登録されているのですが、その地域の民家もスカンセンに移設されています。

その農家の１つに入って見学してみました。　内部は質素ではあるのですが、居住空間が２か所に仕切られていて、１つは日常生活の空間として使用し、もう１つは訪問者が来たり村で行われるお祭りのときに特別使用される空間として使われていたと説明がありました。　説明をしてくれるスカンセンの職員も当時の服装をしていて、建物の中で編み物をしていたり、食事を作っていたりと当時の様子を再現していて、とても本格的な展示ていくたびに新しい発見がありとても楽しいです。

スウェーデン全土への観光は国土も広くやはり難しいものです。しかしこのSkansenはスウェーデン全土にある建物や動植物を展示していてスウェーデンのいろんな地域を訪問したような体験ができて、ストックホルムに観光に来た際は少し遊びに行ってみるのをお勧めします。　ぜひ、楽しんでみたください～！
