I tried it with a little shiso in the taco. It tasted better than I thought it would, and it was a new discovery!
Shiso, avocado, tomatoes, you name it! It's nice to eat lots of vegetables.
I made tacos with beans. This time it was a vegetarian taco.
Shiso taco!
The shiso leaves we planted in May have grown large enough to enjoy their flavor as we harvest a little at a time. There are many ways to use shiso, but it tastes great eaten as is. I am not a big fan of Japanese food, but I am experimenting with different ways of eating shiso to see how it tastes.
I made tacos the other day and added shiso to them. It had quite a bit of shiso flavor and was very tasty. The shiso is getting bigger and bigger, and I am looking forward to enjoying this Japanese flavor as I eat it little by little.

５月に植えたシソの葉っぱが十分な大きさになって、少しづつ収穫をしながらその味を楽しんでいます。 シソは色々な使い方があるのですが、そのまま食べても美味しいですよね。 和食をあまりつくならないわたしですが、どの様に食べたら美味しいかなぁと色々な食べ方をして試しています。
先日、タコスを作ったのですが、それにシソを入れて食べてみました。 シソの風味が結構あって、すごくおいしかったです。 シソもどんどん大きくなっていて、少しづつ食べながらこの日本の味を楽しみたいなと思っています。
