I have been in Turkey many times and what I noticed is that they cook soup for the company and that it is mandatory on the table. I tried it and I really liked it. They cook it from red lentils with the addition of other vegetables and cream. I bought green lentils because I couldn't find red lentils, but the taste is just as good. Pleasant
