El futuro es incierto || Encuentro de talentos

Siempre estamos pensando en el futuro, y aunque no podemos controlar lo que vendrá, tener esa perspectiva de constante cambio nos da la libertad de moldear nuestros pasos día a día. Pues, estudiaremos pensando que en ese futuro seremos grandes profesionales, y tendremos un sueldo, pues eso es lo que nos dicen nuestros padres: estudia para que tengas un futuro prometedor.

We’re always thinking about the future, and even though we can’t control what lies ahead, having that sense of constant change gives us the freedom to shape our path day by day. So, we’ll study with the idea that in the future we’ll be successful professionals with a good salary—because that’s what our parents tell us: study so you can have a promising future.

A veces hacemos muchos planes pensando que no sabemos qué nos deparará el futuro, si esos planes serían una realidad, y nadie conoce ese mañana, aunque nos gustaría saber; siempre nos preparamos para que esos planes sucedan de manera exitosa con nuestras acciones.

Sometimes we make a lot of plans, thinking that we don’t know what the future holds, or whether those plans will come true, and no one knows what tomorrow will bring—though we’d like to know—we always prepare ourselves so that our actions will help those plans succeed.

Con nuestras actitudes perseguimos ese futuro planeado, el cual es tan misterioso, porque jamás sabremos si lo lograremos. Nos enfocamos en nuestro porvenir, y a veces nos conduce a otro destino, el cual no imaginamos ni quisimos; debemos aceptarlo, porque de ello vienen muchos aprendizajes, una nueva experiencia que se nos presenta para cambiar drásticamente nuestro porvenir.

Through our attitudes, we pursue that planned future—one that remains so mysterious because we will never know if we will achieve it. We focus on our future, and sometimes it leads us to a different destination, one we never imagined or desired. We must accept it, because it brings many lessons—a new experience that presents itself to us to drastically change our future.
