Fueron 8,40 Km que realice en este dia, me senti feliz ya que al revisar las estadisticas en la aplicacion del reloj, alcance un 85 % del entrenamiento en zona 2, entrenamiento que logre porque iba con la conviccion que si me pasaba del rando, bajaba intensidad respiraba profundo, y se logro gracias a Dios y la virgen. Muy importante trabajar las diferentes zonas de frecuencia cardiaca para asi fortalecer mas nuestra estrategia como corredores, sometiendo al cuerpo a diferentes tipos de velocidades, que nos ayudan a mejorsr nuestros tiempos de carreras, sin causarnos lesiones. I do Zone 2 training, a workout that might look easy but isn't, since you have to stay disciplined within the heart rate range that corresponds to Zone 2, and this, at least in my case, involves paces of 7:40โ8:00 min/km, which makes for a slower, endurance-based workout that requires mental control. You might think itโs easy, but itโs notโyou really feel the endurance work in your legs once youโve covered several kilometers, and since youโre running at a steady, fast pace, youโre building endurance strength. I went out with my husband very early to do this Zone 2 workout, which is also very hard for him, but we distract ourselves with the scenery and conversation; we stop to catch our breath and hydrate, and that makes the Zone 2 training more bearable.
I ran 8.40 km today. I felt happy because, when I checked the stats on my watch app, I saw that 85% of my workout was in Zone 2. I was able to achieve this because I was determined that if I started to push too hard, I would slow down, take deep breaths, and ease offโand thank God and the Virgin Mary, I succeeded.
