Last June 29th little Xael (my youngest grandson because I am a very young grandmother but grandmother of two beautiful boys) arrived to his first year of life and last Saturday 4th of July we sang his birthday with a cake made by me that I am not a professional baker but I apply myself and more for my loved ones he put the magic ingredient LOVE 💖💖💖
Hice una torta mármoleada de vainilla y chocolate decorada con el motivo de Safari,este motivo estaba impreso en un papel de arroz que consiguen en alguna tienda donde venden insumos para resposteria mandan imprimir el diseño de su preferencia incluso escribir algúna dedicatoria por un pequeño costo adicional.
I made a chocolate-vanilla marble cake decorated with the Safari motif. This motif was printed on a rice paper that you can get from a store that sells supplies for confectionery.
En la reunión estuvimos muy pocas personas por lo del confinamiento pero fue muy amena y agradable además ver y abrazar mis sobrinas fue reconfortante después de no haberlas visto en varios meses por la cuarentena, llegado el momento de cantar el cumpleaños para probar el tan anhelado pastel por los niños.
In the meeting we were very few people because of the confinement but it was very nice and pleasant also to see and hug my nieces was comforting after not having seen them for several months by the quarantine, when it was time to sing the birthday to taste the so desired cake by the children.
Todos alrededor de la mesa contentos cantando y al bebé le brillaban los ojos emocionado intento varias veces echarle mano a la torta pero fracasó porque mami le tomaba la mano,él sólo miraba de un lado al otro como pensando como llegar a la torta jajaja cuando de pronto nos sorprendió a todos ups metió el pie y se oye la voz de una de las primas gritar ¡Xael metió la pata! Jajaja él mismo se quedó con una expresión sorprendido de lo que hizo seguimos cantando su cumpleaños y las primas colaborando en limpiar su piecesito se comían el merengue jajajaja así fue como el bebé nos dejó esta anécdota a la familia de su dulce metida de pata pero se salió con la suya tocó su torta.
Everybody around the table was happy singing and the baby's eyes were shining with emotion. He tried several times to get his hands on the cake but he failed because mommy was holding his hand. Hahaha he was left with a surprised expression of what he did we continued singing his birthday and the cousins collaborating in cleaning his little piece were eating the meringue hahaha that's how the baby left us this anecdote to the family of his sweet screw up but he got away with it he touched his cake.
