Happy and Blessed Day to all the members of this great Community of GEMS.Today I come to share a way to prepare Chinese green beans .
Chinese Green Beans or Vigna radiata, popularly called Mungo bean or green soybean, is a species of the Fabaceae family. It is widely cultivated in China, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Africa, as well as in tropical and subtropical regions. In Venezuela it is very common to prepare them, there are many varieties of beans that can be added to almost any savory recipe, they are very nutritious foods that provide a lot of proteins, minerals and vitamins that benefit the body.
Preparation:
*Let's start by washing the beans to let them soak in water between 1 to 2 hours.
*Then drain them well and place them in a pot with the liter of water, and let them cook over high heat until everything boils.
*When it has boiled, cover the pot and continue cooking over low heat for about 45 minutes.
One of the easiest ways to eat it is to prepare it with plenty of broth, the kids love it this way.
When that time has elapsed, the Chinese beans should be soft, now add a little more water if necessary and add the rest of the ingredients: the liquefied and sautéed seasonings and let it cook for about 15 minutes more over low heat.
Once they are ready, let it reporsar and serve, you can accompany them with white rice.
