We were lucky to find this nice restaurant "Cortazar" near our apartment in San Sebastian, Spain by pure coincidence and we did not have a reservation, nevertheless the nice staff was able to give us a table. You know in San Sebastian is a bit difficult to eat in a good restaurant without having a reservation in advance. After only a few minutes the restaurant was full. As a starter there was also a fine soup a salad, followed by a fine risoto or escalop perfectly cooked, as dessert just something simple but very delicious. The meals are excellent service with friendly staff and as well good prices. If you travel in the area you have to drop by and try it, You know that San Sebastian has in addition 19 Michelin restaurants in the city, one of the highest concentration of Michelin stars in Europe.
As well as many other very good Restaurants in the city, from pintxo bars to fresh seafood and more with some of the best chefs in the world, San Sebastian is considered one of the best cities in the world for food. Definitely you should be hungry when you come to San Sebastian. It is a paradise for all food lovers!
