Hello friends,
Let me share how I’m trying to stay strong and healthy now since the cold season began and masks in most places are not mandated (which is ok).
This photo from our evening walk. I wanted kids to get fresh air before bed and most importantly I wanted them to get tired and sleep well.
Here is our morning snack. I decided to make sure all of us eat enough fruits, to get natural vitamins. I mixed together papaya, banana, and blueberries. Almost a fruit salad.
When I cut papaya for the first time in my life, I didn’t know what it was supposed to look like. I freaked out when I saw black seeds, I thought my papaya turned bad and through it away🙈. Now when I think about after several years eating it, it’s kind of embarrassing.
My son does sports a lot and he loves eating red meat. So I try to cook it at least every other day to make sure he gets enough protein (he also likes chili style beans).
My daughter, well it all depends on her mood, sometimes she agrees to eat anything other times she won’t eat even what she usually likes eating, go figure:-)
Here is a big chunk of beef I cooked today with rice.
This is kids’ bowl of rice and beef with vegetables.
This is my plate, I’m a huge meat eater🙈.
And my husband’s Caesar salad. This guy is trying to be a vegetarian. So far he’s doing good.
Here I was trying to include my cute tiny pumpkins in the photo just because I like them.
The new birdhouse we found at the park today. I like how it’s made like a log cabin. In the past mostly saw nice smooth painted birdhouses, and this one looks unique compared to others.
