Hello everyone! How are you? I want you to join me at a place I recently discovered while looking for a different breakfast spot. It's called Le Goutier, and as you can probably guess from the name, it's a French restaurant with an elegant concept, but it's not stuffy; the atmosphere is relaxed and lively. I really like the decor, with those wall panels. In some areas, they even have exposed brick, giving it a more rustic look—a rather unusual but interesting combination.
¡Hola Hola, gente de internet! ¿Cómo están? Quiero que me acompañen a un lugar que descubrí recientemente mientras buscaba un sitio diferente para desayunar. Este se llama Le Goutier y tal como ustedes pueden intuir debido al nombre, es un restaurante de origen francés con un concepto elegante pero aún así no es sobria, el ambiente es relajado y dinámico. Me gusta mucho la decoración que tiene con esos páneles de las paredes, hay zonas donde incluso tienen el ladrillo expuesto, dándole un aspecto más rústico, teniendo una combinación muy rara pero a la vez interesante.
The menu had many interesting things, a wide variety of breakfast options, but I decided to choose a Fluffy Pancake. Here in Venezuela, we'd colloquially call it something like "A fluffy pancake" 😄. It was delicious with that red berry compote, plus it had a crunchy cookie topping and came with maple butter. The texture was truly very fluffy (I'm a pastry chef, so I pay close attention to those details because, obviously, I was trained in culinary school to taste and differentiate flavors and textures). Also, the pancake was topped with Chantilly cream on top of the red berry compote (which added an extra touch 😋). The flavor was delicious, a very interesting and well-balanced combination of flavors, so I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
En la carta habían muchas cosas interesantes, opciones de desayuno muy variadas per yo decidí elegir una Pancakes flufy, aquí en Venezuela la llamaríamos coloquialmente algo así como: "Una Panqueca esponjada" 😄. Estaba riquísima con esa compota de frutos rojos, además tenía un crocante de galleta y venía acompañada con mantequilla de maple. En cuanto a la textura puedo decir que la masa estaba un poco densa (Yo soy chef pastelera así que me fijo mucho en esos detalles porque obviamente fui entrenada en la escuela culinaria para catar y diferenciar sabores y texturas) Por lo tanto yo dugeriría airear más la masa o reducir la cantidad de harina. Arriba de la compota de frutos rojos el pancake venía cornado con crema Chantilly (lo cuál le dio un valor agregado 😋) El sabor estaba delicioso, muy interesante combinación de sabores, muy equilibrada, así que en términos generales disfruté mucho de la experiencia.
It was my first time there, and I loved the service; it was excellent. The wait time for my order was also just as I expected. After my initial order, I ordered another Fluffy Pancake, and that one did take a while, but I completely understood that it was due to high demand, and I also ordered it much later than the first one. The waiter handled this very well, so of course I will return to this place.
Es la primera ves que voy a ahí, me encantó el servicio, fue muy bueno, el tiempo de espera de mi orden también estuvo a la altura de mis expectativas, luego de mi orden inicial yo ordené otro Pancake Flufy y ese sí tardó pero entendí perfectamente que es por la alta demanda que tiene y además lo pedí mucho después que el primero, el mesero supo manejar muy bien esto, por lo tanto por supuesto que yo regresaré a este lugar.
Another detail I liked is that they have good customer service on social media. I left them a review on Instagram with the suggestions I'm sharing with you in this post, and they responded thanking me. This is something not all restaurants do; some only give brief and unenthusiastic replies.
Otro detalle que me gustó es que manejan una buena atención en redes sociales, yo les dejé una reseña en instagram, con las sugerencias que les estoy comentando a ustedes en este post, y ellos me respondieron agradeciéndolas, y esto es algo que no todos los restaurantes hacen, algunos solo dan respuestas escuetas y carentes de emoción.
