Yesterday I introduced you to my be friend, Birb. Check him out in this post. Birb was pretty cool. But very shady, too. Gotta stay careful and alert. There's no saying what he's up to or what he wants.
I told you we would follow up on him. He is special because he isn't like the kitchen gang pigeons. Different breed, too. So, I went today to follow up. It's more of a getting on his good side than a follow up.
I thought it'd be a good idea to bribe him. So I took a tiny serving of cooked rice for birb. And look at that... he wasn't there.
Birb is smart. He knew I'd try something like this...so he took off before I could try any thing. He is already a step ahead than me.
I left him the rice where lines to sit. I'm not sure if he'll come back or if he is too cautious to hang around me. I think now I know why stays alone and so conserved.
Fast forward to sunset. As dawn ended I went to see if birb was back. To be honest I went to check if he had taken over the world or not. Well, the world seemed the same...
BUT
... the rice was gone!!!
That sneaky birb!
I turned away and heard a mutter. And look who stood there smugly. Ate all the rice and hid behind the pillar. Waited for me to turn around to make a noise and alert me. It was birb!!
How sneaky! I am telling you birb is up to something. Look at him. Smug. He sat there and tipclawed till where I could see him.
Nothing to say. I asked permission to take his picture and he rudely didn't reply, again.
So anyways, I took pictures and bid him goodbye.
