This past weekend and I spent much of our time together caring for animals while friends and family were out of town.
One of the houses we visited had a pool for us to use. Along with two German shepherds, and four cats. The shepherds were gentle giants and the cats were all pretty nonchalant.
We visited my dad since he was home with my parent’s dogs alone while my mom was out of town. You can see Remy the poodle and his hilarious snaggletooth.
Of course there was ’s dog Juno also. She went to the groomer for the first time ever and got a sanitary trim. We also got a new brush so that we could keep her undercoat from shedding so much. As you can see in the photo, her hair was all over the lawn. She sure was happy to cuddle and be pet after her grooming.
The last photo is of a peculiar rock that found buried in the gravel on her driveway. Come to find out it is a trilobite fossil, which could be as old as 520 million years! That was an amazing find, bravo to her for having such a good eye for cool rocks.
It was quite the mixture of activities throughout this day, we enjoyed our time together as always. I hope you got some enjoyment out of this blog as well.
