When my kids were younger and into dinosaurs they probably would have loved going through this exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago, but we lived hundreds of miles away and never went into the city.

I want to share with you a special little adventure I had recently on the beautiful island of Rügen. I went for a long hike by the Baltic Sea with the hope of finding some interesting fossils.

On Saturday, I set out on a hike with two goals in mind: to discover a beautiful beach and to find at least one fossil along the way. My destination was the famous Kreidefelsen (chalk cliffs) in Jasmund

Since last Sunday we are enjoying our vacation on the beautiful island of Rügen :) There are really so many things to do here!
