Welcoming the week just a few days before Christmas, and it sure was a hectic one for me with all the preparation needed to be presented in Christmas parties, so what I really need now is a relaxing breather to calm down in the counting days before, and maybe being able to see a sight here at Oban Harbour, Scotland as delightfully shared by Hive account@hoosie might just be the perfect view to start and end one's day! (米＾－＾米)
And not to be too distracted with the main objective for this coming weekend, I just gotta ask how ready are your Christmas decors now bring set up? Starting to realize and find out those lifesized Santas and towering plastic pine trees are waaay over your budget? Not to worry with this recycled Christmas tree as created by Hive account@floraada, as it's made of straws and wrapping paper! Gives me lots of ideas to reuse those wrappers I'd just tear apart from opening gifts since it could really help in reducing the amount of paper being produced during this times of the year, plus this sort of tree might just be something you wouldn't mind having your naughty pet maul at the end of the holidays! v(・∀・*)
Another thing to not forget during this holiday season, when families seem to also be holding reunions, are the food to be served! The main dishes are usually a family recipe sort of tradition, I get that bit, but let's always leave room for dessert! And what's a better classic than having chocolate-- in this case, this Chocolate salami recipe as shared by Hive account@plantasticka. Just looking at this sweet slice makes me imagine of the melty chocolate-y goodness that reminds me of my favorite Toblerone bars or my newly found fondness of the crunchy almond cake from IKEA. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Looking for a more adrenaline-inducing dessert to last you through the after-party? What better way than to spike up the ole traditional cream punch with a dash of coffee AND alcohol as seen from how Hive account@marivic10 made this! Now I've heard of fruit punches and jello shots, but there's definitely something about spicing up your usual cup of joe that just hits right, and I've tried some alcohol-infused hot chocos before so this is most definitely a must-try for me later on. (= ..)_且
So as parting words for this week that might help you in getting though the holiday hassle and maybe one's need to make every aspect of these days unforgettable, I'll be sharing this article by Hive account@vic2ryx on how it's most definitely not good to "Trying To Control Everything?". Remember that life is full of choices, but only when you choose the compatible choice for you, will you be able to take your mind off the things that might not even relatively matter.
