Hello friends, this time I prepared a very traditional dish here in my beautiful land Venezuela, it is the famous parakeet, but I added sausages and accompanied nothing more and nothing less than with arepa.
Hola amigos, esta vez preparé un plato muy tradicional aquí en mi hermosa tierra Venezuela, es el famoso perico, pero agregué salchichas y acompañé nada más y nada menos que con arepa.
Parakeet is a mixture of egg and fried dressing that is mainly prepared for breakfast.
El perico es una mezcla de huevo y aderezo frito que se prepara principalmente para el desayuno.
1.Firstly the dressings are finely chopped, if you have a food processor they are better. Then they are fried in the oil with the sausages cut into small pieces.
- Primeramente se pican finamente los aliños, si tienes un procesador de alimentos quedan mejor. Luego se ponen a sofreir en el aceite con las salchichas cortadas en pequeños trozos.
2.Place two eggs in a bowl, add salt to taste and beat with a fork, until the yolk mixes well with the white. (I like to add a little cold water to this mix.)
2.Coloca dos huevos en un bol, agrega sal al gusto y bate con un tenedor, hasta mezclar bien la yema con la clara. (Me gusta agregar un poco de agua fria a esta mezcla)
3.Add the beaten eggs to the dressing and the sausage stir fry, stirring constantly, so that the mixture comes together but in very small pieces.
3.Agrega los huevos batidos al sofrito de aliño y salchichas, revuelve constantemente, para lograr que la mezcla se una pero en trozos muy pequeños.
