Hello,
Egusi is a popular soup common in the yoruba land and i love to eat it
Firstly, dry grinded egusi will be missed with little water, onion and little maggi. Mix it until it is thick and bringing out oil.
Ingredients used
Grinded egusi
Onion
Maggi
Palm oil
Fish
Ponmo,
Crayfish
Ugu
Pepper
Processof preparing egusi
To prepare the egusi, I poured the palm oil in the pot on the fire, then slice some onion when the palm oil is hot, then i fried the grinded pepper put all seasoning(maggi and salt) to taste after that i put meat or fish, ponmo, crayfish to taste moderately.
Then we I put the mixed egusi little by little don't cover the pot so that it will come out in coagulated form you allow it to cook, then put any desired vegetable either ugu, uziza or bitter leaf but mine wad prepared with ugu then allow it to steam for 5minutes
then it was served with semovita some like to take it with eba.
