It is always being said that whenever you are able to go through a certain process, you are just to be thankful for making it to that far. This is why I can’t start the new week without saying thank you to the almighty who has being with me all this while, and if am still able to perform any action with any part of my body then he really deserves it more.`
Gradually today marks the 6th day as we began giving out the ECOWAS identity card to every citizen. And in fact it has never being easy with it since these people are just giving us the headache of calling, calling, calling yet they keep telling stories, and soon when we are done these same people will be all over calling to know when they can get their cards. Well, such is human they are never satisfied with anything you do to them.
Last night we had another national address by our President in the person of Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo on the measures we as a country should take in minimizing the spread of covid-19 around. Even though some people had the thought that, the President just wasted our time with all that was said since it is similar to all that was said in his speech two weeks ago.
For me, I saw these comments to be harsh and mean because there were lot that he said in there and it was necessary since those lights are taking effect today. Everything had it to really hit on all developments so far and how we go with them tomorrow. So official tertiary schools have resumed for all final year students to finish up on their project works and exit in peace.
High schools will also resume exactly a week today for all final year students to finish up their examination and all the second year gold students as well to also complete their syllabus since they spent like a month in student before the pandemic lead us to close down all schools. Junior High schools will also be resumed for only final year students who are going to take their final exams, which will let them in to Senior High School.
The government by this virtue distributed nose masks, veronica buckets, hand sanitizers, and liquid soaps to these various institutions to be given to every student that comes back on campus. It is the best the government can do to help these people and to avoid the chock that comes up when some do not exit for others to also come in.
I wish all the final year students in the various tertiary schools the best of luck, and to always follow all the health protocols that has being said by the Ghana health service.
