안녕하세요 😃
반가워요
From now on, I would like to post my daily life.
이제부터, 나의 일상을 여기에 포스팅하고 싶어요.
Drink buddy, Tanuki
As I said before, we used to go a lot of drinking places. Yes, obviously Korea is 24-hours-non-stop-drinking-is-possible. So anywhere you visit, you can order general beverage and basic alcohols like Soju and Beer. One night, we ran into the quite Japanese theme place. Even until we stepped into the place, we didn't know it is a kinds of hip place. I mean popular. So We got the seats and ordered some food for drinks.
While waiting for our order to come, from our seats, we both couldn't take off eyes to see the drink shelves. All the Japanese drinks and even they were selling a cup of each drinks. Quite interesting.
A lot of different drinks
Since maybe 70s and 80s in Korea, it is the first time to see drink is selling by a cup. When my father was young, as he said, he used to have some drink after work but not whole bottle but just a shot or little cup, which cost only 500 won, so 50 cents. But here was a bit pricy like 45ml is 6500 won so almost 6 us dollars. Then almost as expensive as a shot of Tequila.
OUR FOOD CAME
STICK FOOD SET
As you can see, it is a variety of different food on sticks
🍢🍡🍄🍅🥩🥓🍤🥜🍗🍡🍢
The owner couple are international couple. The husband is Korean and the wife is from Japan. She could speak a bit of Korean but still sounded somehow Japanese like her intonation and accent. They both were cooking and serving to all the customers and absolutely they made each sticks and grilled on real fire. It made whole restaurant full of food smoke, but still smelt so nice. And also I loved what we got. The flavour was so real like smoky but each ingredient is harmonized together so nicely.
🍶 S A K E 🍶
The most important part of eating out at night
🥫 Shichimi 🥫
Then the owner's wife came to us and recommended this little powder to add on the food. It is a type of mixed spice powder like red pepper, Chinese pepper, black sesame, and other spices. Actually it made a lot different flavour like Korean pepper, a bit spicy but not strongly spicy. But pretty good combination with a bit of oily flavour with the stick food.
When we checked out, I found this.
ORGANIZED SO WELL!
