Today I am super happy, after struggling to germinate a lemon seed, a month has passed since then and there have been 3 attempts, and finally this week I started to see the progress of the future plant, I thought it would be easy because I was following some advice that I saw online but I couldn't have been more wrong, so much so that I had to change the initial method because the seed ended up full of mold after 2 days of trying to make it germinate.
This particular seed is about 2 weeks old since I decided to try again. It is assumed that after 6-8 days we should be seeing this process, but in my case it has taken a long time. The last method I tried was to bury it in a light layer of soil and making sure it was moist, of the 10 seeds I placed only this one was the only one I could see emerge, below are the images :)
Hoy estoy súper feliz, después de estar luchando por hacer germinar una semilla de limón, ha pasado un mes desde entonces y han sido 3 intentos, y por fin esta semana empecé a ver los progresos de la futura planta, pensé que sería fácil porque estaba siguiendo unos consejos que ví en internet pero no pude estar más equivocada, tanto así que tuve que cambiar el método inicial porque la semilla terminaba llena de moho a los 2 días de intentar hacer que germine.
Esta semilla en particular, tiene como 2 semanas desde que decidí intentar otra vez, se supone que a los 6-8 días ya deberíamos estar viendo este proceso, pero en mi caso se ha demorado bastante, este último método que probé fue enterrarla en una ligera capa de tierra y asegurarme de que estuviera húmeda, de las 10 semillas que coloqué solamente esta fue la única que he podido ver surgir, a continuación las imágenes :)
