It doesn't have to be a day like today to recognize something we sometimes take for granted: the work that sustains our lives and the lives of others. It doesn't matter if it's visible or silent, if it happens in an office, at home, on the street, or behind a screen… there is effort, discipline, and often sacrifice. I know that not every day is easy, that there is tiredness, doubt, and moments when we want to give up, but we still keep going. And that says a lot about us.
To all the hard-working people in this community, I want to say that what you do matters. Every small step forward, every goal achieved, every failed attempt that becomes a learning experience… it all adds up. Sometimes we don't see immediate results, but the commitment we put in every day builds something bigger than we imagine. Today is not just a day to celebrate work, but also perseverance, resilience, and the courage to keep going even when it's difficult.
No es necesario que sea un día como hoy solo para reconocer algo que a veces damos por hecho: el trabajo que sostiene nuestras vidas y las de los demás. No importa si es visible o silencioso, si ocurre en una oficina, en casa, en la calle o detrás de una pantalla… hay esfuerzo, disciplina y muchas veces sacrificio. Sé que no todos los días son fáciles, que hay cansancio, dudas y momentos en los que uno quisiera rendirse, pero aún así seguimos. Y eso ya dice mucho de nosotros.
A toda la gente trabajadora de esta comunidad, quiero decirles que lo que hacen importa. Cada pequeño avance, cada meta cumplida, cada intento fallido que se vuelve aprendizaje… todo suma.
