When people get sick, they get sensitive and it can be easily noticed from their behavior. Some of these people will invariably get better after a while without taking any medication. Others may take all the medications they can lay their hands on, and still, nothing will change.
At that point, different thoughts will start running through their mind. This is exactly when you will see people doubting the essence of a dream car when they are not sure of surviving the night. That's life for us.
In my part of the world, the mindset many people have about illness is;
If it's not serious enough to get you into the operation room of a standard hospital, then it's not serious at all.
Just like that... But it's quite ludicrous.
Someone can feel an ache for a couple of days and it will continue for weeks, but the same person will continue doing whatever he have been doing without seeking medical attention. People get slight headache which grows into bigger and more life-threatening health conditions but as far as they can walk, they will consider themselves to be okay.
When all these minor issues compounds, it leads to more complex health challenges. At that point, it becomes harder to solve the problem and many lives have been lost because of this negligence.
In this post, the highlight is on the Importance of taking necessary measures to get medical attention whenever we feel ill,
but there are some variables that cannot be overlooked.
There are people that consider medical treatment to be too much of a luxury.
I've seen these people and I can't really blast their actions because they barely have enough money to get 3 decent meals per day. Asking them to take up a health insurance policy or to go for regular medicals would be too much to ask.
I understand this.
I know about the factors that can make people to overlook their health and co. Sentiments apart, I believe that good health should be prioritized by all.
When there is good health, many other things will surely follow.
