I've been filled with a surge of anticipation as each day brings us closer to the long-awaited Easter celebration. Oh, my! I never thought this Easter period could make me this happy.
It's even hard to point out the exact thing about this season that is making me happy. It surely can't be the food because I won't be going home for Easter. Maybe it's just the whole preparatory activities that go into getting set for Easter... I dunno.
All I know is that I've been busy this week with a lot of activities geared towards preparing my body and mind for the big event. For the record, I dedicated my 3 Tunes Post for this week to Easter. You will see some heart-warming praise and worship in the songs I highlighted in the post.
Yesterday was Holy Thursday.
What an experience!
I'm born into a Catholic home and I grew up to fall in love with the things that plays out during these periods. During yesterday's Holy Thursday celebration, I enjoyed participating in the whole event as we they got unfolded during Mass Celebration. The washing of the feet was also a joy to witness. What a sight!
Today won't be any different. We will be doing the last Stations of the Cross today until the next Lenten season in 2024. I believe today's event is going to be very memorable because the passion of Christ across the XIV stations of the Cross will be acted out in several parishes. It will be an interesting sight to behold and an unforgettable experience for everyone that will witness it.
Since I started this day with work, the rest of the evening would be devoted to the Good Friday celebration. Seems like this weekend is going to be filled with a good blend of work, religious activities and relaxation.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma
