I'm going to have a sauna in a minute. A short while ago, I came from a large supermarket where I bought a some beer among a few other things.
I was taken by surprise when the lady watching over the self-checkout asked my for my ID. Now, to be sure, she did not think I was under 18. She asked me for ID because the law says that anyone who appears as if he/she could be under 30 must be asked for ID for age verification. My beard is partially gray and she probably didn't see that because of the way the light reflected from it or something.
This exact same thing has happened once before.
I had a chat with her as I was putting what I'd bought into a bag. She told me I appeared about 30 years of age because I had no wrinkles around my eyes. I told her I'll be turning 50 soon.
When I was walking towards my car, I thought to me self I might be getting used to this. The first time around for a very long time, the question did not leave me completely speechless.
