Still enough snow but the condition of the trails had deteriorated a little bit. Temperature +2 C.
There were quite a bit of needles, twigs, leaves and pieces of bark on the trail but not too much.
The windy weather caused that (the needles etc. and the fallen tree).
There was smoke in the air. There were four people sitting by the fire and having a deep conversation about religion.
I took a picture of the fire and stayed for a few minutes. I'm not too religious myself but it exchanging views is always interesting. Mainstream Christianity in the Nordic countries is very moderate and rational. The culture in this corner of the world can be best described as ultra- pragmatic throughout its entire history.
