My daughter told me there's an Asian grocery store down town that she'd like to go to. Why not? We went to it after I'd picked up from school. It's just outside the city center.
, is this Thai language? If yes, what does it say?
They specialize in spices and sauces as you might guess.
This is pretty basic. They had green tea flavored noodle. That's a new one for me.
Is this a Japanese product? My daughter knew it from anime.
Took photos of these for my wife. She can compare the prices better than I can. Not all of these mixes are available at supermarkets.
We bought the following things
Japanese strawberry lemonade.
It had a strange sealing mechanism. That marble was the actual seal.
This was on top under a paper seal.
You had to disassemble it like that. With the ring taken off you had a tool you were supposed to press the marble with for about five seconds.
I did and accidentally shook the bottle, which resulted in a lemonade shower all over my shorts and my t-shirt. Oh well, summer dries everything as we say in this country.
These were ok. I tasted mostly of salt and seasonings but there was an underlying fish-like taste.
Looks like a Thai product.
