Hoy dudé sobre las fotografías que podía compartir, pero finalmente tomando en cuenta las palabras de Hive account@nelyp en la presentación del concurso acerca de la importancia del mensaje más que de la fotografía en sí misma, me decidí por las que voy a mostrarles debido al mensaje que trasmite y lo que eso significa en los actuales momentos cuando el pánico parece llenar grandes espacios a nivel mundial y olvidamos los recursos que nos brinda el mundo natural y nuestra propia naturaleza.

Esta planta con sus flores me impactó, porque parece increible que en una fractura de un piso de concreto y alejada de la zona verde y cualquier mecanismo de riego, haya logrado mostrar sus flores. Es cierto que el aire esparce semillas por doquier, pero no es solamente que haya germinado la semilla sino que la planta se haya desarrollado hasta producir flores. Les digo que no podía creer lo que estaba viendo.

[This plant with its flowers struck me, because it seems incredible that in a fracture of a concrete floor and far from the green area and any irrigation mechanism, it has managed to show its flowers. Ésta fue la primera vista que tuve de ella, en mi paso por la acera, en una ruta a pie que no acostumbro a usar.

Todo ese granito fue el piso de una casa demolida, está ubicado entre dos construcciones y desde la acera no podía dar crédito a lo que mis ojos me decían. Florecitas amarillas brotando del granito. Así que entré en la parcela y tomé la segunda fotografía, también con la cámara de mi celular. Ya la luz del día había bajado su intensidad, pero fue suficiente.

Esta planta ha mostrado resistencia, resilencia ante las difíciles condiciones en las que nacido y sobrevivido. Es obvio que ha sabido aprovechar lo bueno y desechar lo malo. ¿Hacemos la mayoría de nosotros lo mismo?

Tomemos la lección y apliquémosla a la especie de locura colectiva que parece haberse desencadenado alrededor del Corona virus y también, en forma más restringida, apliquémosla a los difíciles tiempos en Steemit.

Let's take the lesson and apply it to the kind of collective insanity that seems to have been unleashed around the Corona Virus and also, more narrowly, apply it to the difficult times in Steemit.
