We have nearly 50,000 cases and are closing in on 5000 dead.
I know Covid is not a laughing matter.
Yet there is part of me that embraces some gallows humor about it.
In a way it is all we can do.

You know with all the lock down regulations and the overbearing executive orders such as forbidding using a motor boat or jet ski, many folks have become cynical and somewhat jaded. Lets face it, things have not been easy for any of us. Yet all and all, I have tried to stay home and isolate and wear a mask etc etc and have not felt too put out by it all. However, as they say, sh*t just got real!
No this is not an ad for Maruchan ramen. No I am not sponsored by them...although I should be! I would say not a day go by on average that a package of Maruchan ramen is not consumed by someone in my house. I would bet it is more than that even. Lets just say that I am a ramen lover!
So imagine my horror when I saw the headlines that Covid has hit the Maruchan ramen factory in Virginia! Yep it is true from all the reports I have read that seven cases have been found in their factory in Virginia. Of course my thoughts and prayers go out to those infected and I hope against hope that more cases will not be reported.
Thankfully they have not stopped production! I usually keep a decent supply in the cabinets, and back up tucked away where I dont even take it out of the bag!
Of course, I always have more than a single back up bag. Right now I have have three bags! However, I am sharing this just in case you are a Maruchan ramen lover as well. If you are, perhaps it is worth running out to horde build up a supple, you know just in case.
I dont know about you all, but I am feeling a need to stack a few more bags because for about 20 cents a pop, how can you beat it. Better to be safe than sorry I always say. Or better to have and not need, then to need and not have.
