It;s Rakhshabandhan today and calls for some sweets. MeethiSewayi are widely prepared all over the country on this special occasion. It is made with rich dry fruits and coconut powder. I have always followed the tradition of making meethisewayi on this festival. Its delicious and easy to make.

Ingredients
• 1 cup Roasted Bambina
• 1/2cup sugar
• ½ cup water
• Elaichi Powder
• 1/4 cup desi ghee
• Some dry fruits (Raisins and Almonds)
• Coconut Powder
Method
Step 1: Heat desi ghee in a pan. Add the nuts and roast them for a minutes.
Step 2: Now sdd the bambino and roast it for around 2-3 minutes.
Step 3: Add elaichi powder to the bambinos and mix well.
Step 4: Now add sugar and water to the bambinos and mix well. Cover it and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes till the bambinos are soft enough.
Step 5: Once done, sprinkle some coconut powder from the top.
Step 6: Garnish with some more nuts and serve hot!
