It is with great pleasure that am welcoming everyone to my blog and I hope you're all doing great and having a wonderful day. I will like share with you today about the recent development of my broiler birds as they got vaccinated since they are 7days old.
I started this journey of raising broiler birds some days ago and my objectives is to raise them and sell them off since I saw this as an opportunity to raise more funds and to increase my source of income.
Like I have mentioned in some of my post regarding broiler birds that raising broiler birds is very a lucrative business if one follow the right measures and today I will be discussing about one of those measure which I have already taken.
Broiler birds are known for their prone to diseases even despite the fact that they are lucrative, but to earn as much as possible one have to make sure that they stay healthy by following the proper measures such as providing with conducive environment, giving them quality feeds and healthy water and as well as monitoring them day and night.
My birds are already a week old and they just got vaccinated with 200 dose lasota. Lasota is a vaccine used to prevent disease such as New Castle in poultry birds as this will help to prevent high rate of mortality in birds to help the farmers or entrepreneurs get the appropriate profits.
Lasota comes in different doses and the amount you must select is probably based on the numbers of the birds. And since my birds are just 50 pieces then I was told to get the one of 200 dose which I did and I have already administer it to them by adding it to their drinking water.
Before I administer the lasota vaccine to the birds, I make sure removed all drinkers from them for up to two hours to make them feel thirsty so that they will have the urge to drink the water mixed with the vaccine when administer to them. They all drink from the water and they are all healthy and active. There are still more vaccines to be administer to them but I will discussing about that in my forthcoming post.
