This is our third consecutive Friday cleanup that is filmed.
the area is the same. we continue along the road near our farm.
this road had been cleaned recently as preparation for the fire risk season.
grass and branches were cut down and mostly removed.
all the garbage accumulated on the sides of the road are left behind.
worse, the machines used for cutting the weeds, shred many plastic items into much smaller bits making them very hard to be collected. nearly impossible. see Micro-Plastics.
we have taken out 19 different drinking bottles today.
1 glass beer bottle, 1 other small glass bottle, and the rest PET water bottles.
3 drinking cans, quite a few cigarette buts (which is soooo sad to see that people still do not see the fire risk they provoke).
another disposable mask, papers, wrappers etc.
