When choosing the subject FLOWERS for the 23st round of the #pobphotocontest I already expected that a lot of people would join. I think everyone has pictures of flowers or flowers in their neighbourhood.
But I didn't expect this many contestants; we've almost reached 40!

I really love Bougainvilleas. They grow they grow luxuriantly in warmer countries. Unfortunately I don't see them a lot in The Netherlands. It's a bit too cold here.
What I like about your photo is that it's taken on the road side and the combination of the colours of the flower, the foliage and the blue sky. Well done!
