A tirade of threnody brims
to the perimeter of this room
beside me is an artistic candle
beating with a swaggering light
this time, I try to redefine a SCAR
which reincarnated into silence
but my voice became a flightless feathered bird
This strange feeling reminds me
of grandmother's last words
before breaking the last bread with us
“a body that breaths its last
becomes a firewood in turn of ashes”
a day after, she sank deep into the earth
like water returns to its source
Sometimes we try to forge our scars
into a tender template of poem
which unfolds a diagrammatic symbolism
and picturesque metaphor —
and make them a fancy fable;
meanwhile we mean
the irony of the sound of laughter
in the veins of darkness
that smells of blood and sweat.
It's been a while I posted any of my Poems; though I have something that takes some of my energy and time — that's why I do squeeze myself to come here to post which I do occasionally with making of comments on different writings that I feel it's necessary. I do enjoy different sort of creativity writings here, trust me, and sometimes I do want to upvotes, but unfortunately, my upvote doesn't count at all — it worths nothing (it's just an addition of number). What I mostly do here is to come and relish creative writing. The truth is, I've been making some comments on some “Poetries” (and other writings). I feel this is the time for me to show mine 😃😃🙂. And the above poem is a recent one which I intended to put out here as promised.
