We all need some support for well-being. This bear market is also especially challenging because inflation and uncertainty of how long this can drag on is pretty stressful.
This post is a quick instruction for practicing mindfulness, or what some would interpret as meditation. Nothing fanciful here. If you google “mindfulness practice” you will find a ton of information on the internet that explains how it is done, and what benefits it brings.
Here, the focus, pun not intended, is on explaining it as a strategy for helping people to cope with stress. It is said to bring about clarity of thoughts. Hopefully it can be useful for decision making in your crypto adventure too.
It is pretty simple by the way, as it is the practice mindfulness of the breath we are talking about.
Just sit still. Give yourself a set duration, say 5 minutes to begin with, and longer progressively. Be determined to note the breathing in, and the breathing out, at the nostrils. Focus on that, and repeatedly bring the focus back to the event at the nostrils. Know that it’s the in breath, and the out breath.
Distraction will definitely occur, if you are doing it right.
The mindfulness of it all is to refocus on the nostrils when distractions occurs. Come on, it’s only for five minutes!
Let every moment be new as you refocus.
Every effort made to refocus strengthen the habit. When the habit is strengthened, a mind that knows what to focus on should follow. In times of distress, a mind that can focus on sense of peace and wellbeing is important.
Treat the refocusing much like every effort made to mine cryptocurrency. My point is, it all adds up.
Don’t beat yourself up if you get distracted.
As for mining the real crypto, once you have the system set up, just mine one after another, with patience.
