Dear community, today Friday I wanted to show you this beautiful species that I like very much, because it is very rich and very dynamic to eat, its scientific name is "Lactarius deliciosus" and do you know why??? It is because of its delicious flavor when cooked, in the towns around here it has different names such as "molito" "enchiladito" "pig's trunk" and these names refer to its shape and orange color, as if it were bathed in chili, You know that here in Mexico we put chile on everything, so you'll understand hahaha
Well, what I wanted to show you is that the genus of this fungus is "lactarius" and it is because this fungus produces an orange colored latex and if you put a drop on your tongue it is like putting a little black pepper on it, those drops that are seen are latex that comes out when you hurt their blades.
An apology that I do not have photos of the top so that you can locate it well, but I know that many of you know what mushroom I am talking about, it is very popular.
Did you already know this fungus and why was it called like that?
Tell me what you know about this fungus!
