We popped into Whitworth Park for a coffee after a nice brisk walk in the park. Jack Frost has arrived with a vengeance. I'm not complaining though as the constant rain was a bit tiresome. The sun was out and so was the horse and carriage rides.
Inside the dog friendly cafe, we met a regular dog walker who takes her older dog around in a children's buggy. I see a lot of older dogs being transported like this. Just because your dog cannot walk far, doesn’t mean there's no quality of life. A buggy allows them to still get out to see the world. Sadly, there used to be two dogs but one has now gone to doggy heaven.
The flowers on the table was a nice touch. They reminded me of spring.
The lady was putting today's specials on the board. She started at the bottom ....
.... and then had to get a chair to finish the top!
I had a regular latte. The upside down heart looked like someone's bottom, or is it just me?? It was a nice treat to warm me up though.
My brother had a full fry up, but I didn't fancy much, so I just had a slice of toast.
All done! Mission accomplished!
