Hello my dear friends. The weather is hot here in Bali so i always like to stay indoor during the day time where the sun was blazing her shine through all of us. Still, there are things that we cant help but happened such as yesterday, there was something happened to the electricity in my home stay. Bali in the day time without air conditioning is cruel. I need to work. So, i dont have any choice but to go out. I cant possibly think while drenching in sweats. Then, i sent messages to my friend, asking him if he’s free or not. Luckily he’s doing work from home. He also like to work outside such as going to work in the cafe or something. So, i asked him to pick me up and then we will find a place to work later. Since we’re confused where to go, we decided to just go to Starbucks. I have never go to Starbucks in Bali so its a good new experience for me. I must say, this Starbucks in Canggu have different vibe than other Starbucks that have ever try.
This is what the Starbucks looks like. I think that this place used to be an old house and they decided to rent/buy it to open the Starbucks. The place is very beautiful with the old vibes and all the big window. I think it somehow reminds me of European building style or am i just wrong? I love places with big window like this. Especially if its located in a busy street. We can see people going here and there about their lives. Very fascinating. But ofcourse, my main reason why am i here in this place is to get a comfortable place with working Air conditioner and Wifi so i need a place as quite as possible. I will nit able to think clearly if the place crowded and full of people chatting and talking. Luckily, 95% people that sit inside of this Starbucks are doing their work too. So, they’re all very quiet in front of their laptop.
This is me and my friend’s drink. Its Java Chip Frappuccino for him and Earl Grey tea for me. During hot weather like this, i just dont feel like drinking heavy drink. So, no matter how much i love Java Chip Frappuccino of Starbucks, i am not seduced to buy it because i think that i will get sick on my stomach if i buy it.
This is my order. Earl Grey Tea in venti size and a Mochi Choux Sakura Cream. I love love earl grey tea in Starbucks for a hot weather. It cleansing my throat and give me a lot if freshness so i can be more focus when i am doing my work.
This is the Mochi Choux Sakura Cream. So, here is the backstory. In the night before, i went through IG and saw an Instagram account that sell Choux. If its just the normal choux i might not get interested at all. But this one, they have the earl grey flavor. I am a big sucker for earl grey and will buy anything related ti it when i see it. Since its in the middle of the night, i feel bad to disturb the seller so i thought to myself just contacting them in the morning. Sadly, when i opened up my IG accoung in the morning, i have just realized that i sleep before follow the Account that sell Earl Grey choux. I am quite upset and disappointed. So, when i enter Starbucks and see the choux, i get it immediately. So this time, i enjoy the choux while drinking earl grey. I think its pretty close with what i originally planned.
