Hi Hive Lovers
This review is very important and basic for those of you who are going to drink a cup of coffee and you should never claim to be a coffee lover if you can't tell which coffee is truly genuine and pure with coffee that is not originally called fake coffee. How can you love something but you don't know it well?
Here I will briefly help you to distinguish them by paying attention to a few things:
In terms of price
You will soon know the difference between the two from the price difference. Genuine and “impressed” quality coffee has a high price. In my opinion, this is only the impression of some people, because it should be understood that the price determines the taste. The high price will be commensurate with the good taste of the coffee.
Today, the coffee business has become a prestigious business and coffee will not be cheap if the content is pure and truly original. You have to spend more money on something quality, right?
If you get coffee at a cheap price, you will also immediately be able to confirm the authenticity of the coffee. Coffee will be able to be sold at a low price because coffee products are made by adding plant-based substances such as corn, rice, and chemically processed coffee flavor essence. With the addition of these ingredients, the content of coffee becomes less and the authenticity of your coffee is lost.
I think, the addition of some of these materials is used by producers to reduce production prices and can be sold more because the price is cheap. We as coffee consumers can still tolerate it if the producer provides information about the additional components in the coffee. It is our choice, whether we want to spend more money or not to enjoy coffee.
In terms of shape
Currently, a lot of coffee is sold in powder form, especially those that have been in the form of fine coffee grounds. If you want to distinguish in terms of shape> of course, it will be very difficult, because in terms of shape the two have similarities and are almost indistinguishable. You can only tell the difference after the coffee is brewed and sipped.
Because ground coffee is more likely to be mixed, it is highly recommended that you do not buy coffee that has been in powder form. Currently, several well-known coffee producers have also made coffee products and are sold in many choices, both in the form of round beans that have not been or have been roasted.
The authenticity of your coffee will be guaranteed if you buy it directly in the form of round coffee beans and grind it yourself or if you order a cup of coffee at your trusted subscription coffee shop.
In terms of aroma
For those of you who have become heavy coffee addicts, the aroma is one of the most important things in enjoying coffee. Before sipping coffee, first I always inhale the aroma. It will bring pleasure to me, the pleasure will increase when I sip it.
The aroma of coffee is the easiest way to distinguish its authenticity. The aroma of coffee can't be manipulated at all. In mixed coffee, when it comes into contact with hot water when brewing, it will immediately smell the aroma of roasted corn or the aroma of rice and a slightly sharp chemical aroma that comes from the essence (coffee flavoring essence) and the aroma is sharp and lasts a long time. If you've ever brewed cheap coffee sachets, you've smelled the strong aroma of coffee from your glass, even though the temperature of the brewing water you're using isn't too hot.
In contrast to the aroma emitted by real coffee, it is much more delicate. That's why it is highly recommended to brew your original coffee with boiled water at a temperature above 90°C as I have discussed here, to produce a strong aroma but still soft and not as sharp as the aroma of mixed coffee. If you are a coffee lover then you will soon be able to imagine how pure coffee smells that you have often made.
In terms of taste
In terms of taste, when you sip real coffee, the taste is not too strong and doesn't last too long in the throat. Among the coffee lovers community, this is called a "long aftertaste".
Unlike the taste of fake coffee, the long aftertaste is longer in the throat due to the reaction of the mixture of essences in the coffee. The long aftertaste is like you want to get rid of a taste that sticks in your throat. So if you drink fake coffee, you immediately want to drink water, but it will be more effective if you drink warm water.
In terms of effects
Lastly in terms of consequences for your stomach. In normal people, real coffee will not cause problems for the stomach, unless you have a history of high stomach acid. That's why a coffee addict like me, is still able to consume up to 5 cups of coffee in 1x24 hours without experiencing any problems.
Original coffee still feels comfortable in the stomach compared to mixed coffee, because indeed the content of various substances contained in coffee is believed to be good for health in the recommended dosage. It's different when I drink mixed coffee - and that's what I'm forced to do in a formal event, it happened in early 2010. I immediately became nauseous and I finally had to flush it out on the toilet. My face turned pale because of it and I never drank it again till now.
One of these ground coffees is fake coffee. Can you identify which one?
Some people may experience different things for several reasons. You can add your version in the comments and it will be very helpful for all of us here.
*Enjoy your real coffee!
