We popped into this cozy cafe Around Pancake in Budapest to drink hot tea and warm up on a cold March day in 2022.
We have just arrived from Ukraine, fleeing the war, to Hungary. We were happy to walk in this beautiful ancient city amidst its magnificent architecture. Finally, my dream came true! After all, for more than 20 years I dreamed of visiting this royal city on the Danube River. I felt safe and secure here.
The cafe is located in an elite district of Budapest, in a luxury building. We stepped inside and were blown away by the creative design. My favorite style: tables near high windows, wooden armchairs, stylized in the style of antiquity - they reminded me of my native city of Lviv. I loved to find new cozy cafes and sit there on long cold winter evenings, enjoying delicious Galician pastries... In such an atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle, my productivity increases. Unique ideas and sincere revelations always came to mind at this time.
In the middle of the hall, a cozy rest area in turquoise color was organized, where you could read books while sitting on red cushions.
We ordered tea and studied the menu. "Oh, here are my favorite pancakes!" - exclaimed my daughter Victoriya!
So, we found a unique place in the city center, where we later spent a lot of time several times, enjoying the design and delicious pancakes and crepes. In addition to the fact that they were tasty - the design of the dish was beautiful. Pancakes decorated with blueberries.

I enjoyed every detail of the creative design of this cafe! In the photo, you can see the characteristic brick walls of Budapest cafes, which are the pride of the old city. And also interesting drawings of Mr. and Mrs. in black and white.
