This lonely hawn was the only one of its kind I saw on the Galápagos islands. The hawk, which is rather akctive during the day, is the only bird of prey on the islands. It is both a bird of prey, but also a vulture. We passed this one on a short walk. On the way back half an hour later, we saw it eating a stillborn sea lion cub. The hawk is found on several of the islands, but is probably still an endangered species. This photo is my entry to contest @photofeed/photofeed-contest-wildlife-photography-round-164
