We made a stop at the town hall of Amiens, where Jules Verne served as a municipal councilor for 16 years, from 1888 to 1904, overseeing cultural and social affairs.

Afterward, we ventured into the Saint-Leu district, a place that deeply enchanted me. Known for its picturesque charm and lively atmosphere, Saint-Leu is nestled in the heart of the city along the banks of the Somme canals. Its colorful half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets are perfect for leisurely strolls. This historic district is abundant with restaurants, cafes, and artisan shops, making it a beloved destination for both residents and visitors alike.

Un passage par la mairie d'Amiens, où Jules Verne a été conseiller municipal pendant 16 ans, de 1888 à 1904, s'imposait. Il s'occupait des affaires culturelles et sociales.

Ensuite, nous avons exploré le quartier de Saint-Leu, un lieu qui m'a profondément enchanté. Ce quartier est renommé pour son charme pittoresque et son ambiance vivante. Niché au cœur de la ville le long des canaux de la Somme, Saint-Leu séduit par ses maisons à colombages colorées et ses ruelles pavées propices à la flânerie. Il s'agit d'un quartier historique où foisonnent restaurants, cafés et boutiques artisanales, attirant autant les résidents que les visiteurs.
