Greetings, stone balancing monsters!
I recently had the wish to spend some energy on that practice of Zen-and-stone stuff. I had a little goal here — make at least one photo of one stone tower that I built each day of my shortish vacation by the seaside.
What I discovered was...I was mostly preoccupied and too busy as a mental state. Conditioned to want to go to the next thing and not spend too much on relaxing. Because I want to do too much and I have too little spare time.
Well, a lot of it goes to things of my choosing but here is the thing...
I choose too many things.
So, finding the time to go through this little challenge did prove...challenging. I barely was able to handle myself in terms of patience. And, oh, patience is required if you're to be a Zen-stone-stuff-practitioner ;)
Here be my favorite tower out of the four that I built over four of the five days.
Camera Settings:
Aperture F 8; Shutter Speed 1/1000 of a sec.; Light Sensitivuty ISO 100; Focal Length 16 mm.
Camera Used:
Sony Alpha 6000 with a 16-50 mm kit lens.
I planned on posting them in the order I built them but since I was not happy with how I managed the whole thing...lack of time, again, so change of plans. That time problem is a normal thing to have, I guess, when dedicating most of your efforts to your family having a nice time ;)
I shall change the order and the count of the posts that shall appear. I'm starting small here...
...to be continued in Part II.
Yours,
Manol
