Even though I only mentioned a few things about myself in my introduction post when I joined Hive two months ago.
Since everyone is busy with their day-to-day tasks and I have met several key people on Hive, I can briefly describe my new friends here. I don't know much about them as well.
Another chance to introduce myself to everyone here, and I value the chance to get to know everyone better as a huge family.
ACTORDONTEE : This is my nickname, "Actor," which was conferred upon me by a friend. The guy told me he loved the way I used to do everything intelligently when we were in tertiary institution. I would start looking for a solution as soon as the lecturer left the classroom if the professor handed us an assignment.
The guy gave me the nickname "Actor" because he knew that I would always find a solution to every issue, even if everyone else was confused.
I came up with the name "Dontee," which was a derivation of my other name. The Tee was formed from the Tosin in my complete name, which is Ogunleye Opeyemi Oluwatosin. And to make everything special, I added the Don.
I was born in Ekiti State, southwestern part of Nigeria (The state that is well recognised for knowledge and wisdom).
My elementary, high school and higher education were all completed in Ekiti State.
I am the last child out of five, and since I am my father's favourite, I loved my position.
I completed my National Youth Service in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, after studying civil engineering and graduated in 2014.
In 2019, my best friend and I got married.
It was my first trip to the southern region of Nigeria, and I enjoyed the state and practically every community I visited. They have friendly people there and attractive people are all over the place.
My National Youth Service Experience
The National Youth Service Corps{NYSC} is
a compulsory one-year program that was organised by the Federal Government of Nigeria to train youths in discipline, dedication, and selfless acts to be a patriot of the nation anywhere they find themselves.
There is always a compulsory three weeks camping activity.
My parents were unhappy that I had been sent to Akwa Ibom due to the distance, but I assured them that nothing would negatively affect me. I have always shown courage in any circumstance.
Because of the poor roads, my journey took longer than 18 hours. I arrived at camp at midnight.
We received our training from the Nigerian military, whose slogan was "You are wrong." if you are eating or walking, you are wrong. They treated us like high school students and would punish us severely if we disobeyed any rules. It was enjoyable, though some moments were not interesting.
After the camping activities, I was assigned to a secondary school in one of the villages (Ikono), but I couldn't stay there because I lived in the nearby city (Ikot Ekpene). I had to tour the communities first, and I couldn't leave until the Youth Service was over.

Work Experience
I've been going to sites with my brother-in-law to gather experience before graduation.
In the year 2017, I began working with a construction firm.
Have done a lot of roads and buildings across Lagos and Ogun state (south Western part of Nigeria)
I want to go through a few aspects that set me apart.
I firmly think that there is a solution to any problem, and I adore this aspect of my personality. I believe in success and will find a solution to any issue.
I recently finished a road project in a remote part of Lagos State, Nigeria. When we arrived, everyone started laughing at us because so many contractors had left and never returned to the area without finishing the project.
I assured my boss that we would finish the project, and I began by making friends with the elderly and market vendors. I frequently bought them drinks and constantly reassured them that their businesses wouldn't be affected by the project we were about to start.
They adored these statements, and they began to love me. They prayed for me and my project, and they promised to support me.
That was how the project got started, and I did everything I could to prevent certain shops from being demolished, but some were, and my words of encouragement helped me and they were not furious.
God helped me, and the task was successfully finished. This quality has helped me realize how unique I am compared to others.
I forgive easily and don't hold grudges, yet I hate cheating and deceit. I don't regard anyone as inferior and am free to seek information from anyone. I hope this article has provided you with more information about me. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the comment section.
