I am glad to be part of this contest titled Traditional Dish, and today I will be teaching you how to make Oha Soup because I’m from the Eastern Part of Nigeria 🇳🇬 where our favorite and most populous meal is well know as Oha soup and Akpu, Akpu simply mean (Fufu) but first I will teach you how to make Oha Soup.

LIST OF THE INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR MAKING OHA SOUP
Achi
Palm Oil
seasoning cube
Stock Fish
Cray fish
kpomo
Goat meat Or Cow meat
Dry Fish
Salt
Pepper
Oha Leaf
Water
HOW AND WHEN TO APPLY EACH OF THE INGREDIENTS.
This is how you apply each of the ingredients mentioned above one after the other.
After cooking the meat very well together with the dry fish, kpomo, stock fish, and salt, already you know the quality of water that will be enough for the Achi and the ingredients, Achi is one of the items that will make the soup thick, So after cooking this items I mentioned here another thing you will do is to Add your Achi to the meat you are cooking then Add palm Oil, then Add your grinned Cray fish, then Add your pepper,
After 3 minutes you can now Add the leaf which is Oha, Oha is going to be the last thing you will put in the soup then after 2 minutes is ready for consumption.
THEN ANOTHER THING IS AKPU WHICH THE ENGLISH NAME IS (FUFU)

Akpu is the best known with Oha Soup, the both goes very well. When you eat hot Akpu plus hot Oha soup you will know the true difference between Native and English lol.. first of all you need to know what Akpu is made of.
Akpu is made of CASSAVA and it is one of the best Nigerian meal (IGBO) people precisely.
When cook your Akpu very well and then pound it until it becomes very smooth before eating.
Akpu and Oha soup is best served while hot, A true Indigene of IGBO would understand better, because I’m from the Eastern part of Nigeria where they eat Akpu (FUFU) daily basis I can cook Oha Soup and many more. I tell you the sweetness of this meal can make you forget your daily schedules so is better you eat it when you are done with your daily activities.
BENEFITS OF THIS MEAL
As we all know that meat is protein, fish protein especially the stock fish is very high in protein and vitamins, palm oil is also protein so the only thing here that is carbohydrates is Akpu (FUFU) that is the only carbohydrates I have here so when you eat such food you know how you will be looking very healthy and strong.
This meal make your bones strong, this food iOS what most Nigerian super eagle eat before embarking on their football matches it gives them enough strength and you can run for at least for 2 hours without getting tired lol.
Trust me you will love this soup and would love to eat it daily, to those of us who have tested OHA SOUP know that it is rated Number one in the history of Nigerian food, anywhere you go in the world if you request for AKPU and OHA Soup you will surely get it unless there are no IGBO people👌
