- Hello friends! Happy and wonderful day, and Sunday is almost over, this time I want to join the Sunday Creative Content, I want to share with you an exquisite dessert that I prepared at my sister's house, a delicious coffee marquise with arequipe topping. This dessert has a deep and delicious coffee flavor, perfect for those who are lovers of this aromatic beverage, I assure you that you will love to try it. In our family we are passionate about coffee, so I was fascinated by the idea of incorporating its flavor to this snack, creating a sweet moment to share.
Ingredients, we will need☕🥞
- 2 packages of maria cookies
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 eggs
- 6 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons powdered milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups of coffee ☕
- 25 gr chocolate chips
- 25 grams of colored sprinkles
- 250 gr arequipe
1 cup of water
Preparation: step by step:
- We start by separating the maria crackers from the package and place them on a tray.
- Then, in the mixer bowl, add one cup of water and three tablespoons of powdered milk, beat on high. Set aside.
Next, we prepare the cream that we will alternate with the cookies.
To begin, turn the stove on low heat and in a medium saucepan add the sugar, eggs, wheat flour and vanilla essence. Stir vigorously until a smooth, homogeneous and slightly thickened mixture is obtained.
After mixing very well, continue adding the liquid milk and stirring little by little with the help of a hand mixer, after a few minutes add the cornstarch and continue stirring.
Finally, add the butter at room temperature and let it completely disintegrate with the other ingredients.
When you observe that the cream has acquired a thick and smooth consistency, turn off the stove and remove the pot. Let the cream come to room temperature so we can begin to assemble our marquise.
- Next, we proceed to prepare the coffee. We butter the tray before starting to assemble the marquise. We dip the cookies in the coffee and place a layer, making sure to cover all the spaces with the cookies, then the cream, and so on until we finish.
- Place in the refrigerator for two hours, remove and decorate to taste, we add chocolate chips and colored rain.
Then put back in the refrigerator for half a day or until the next day.
Our delicious coffee Marquise is ready.
- Delicious was left, we enjoyed it.
