Hello everyone in the hive Blockchain. I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the weather wherever you are. Welcome to my blog.
About three weeks ago, the Newbies initiative program started, and ever since it has been educative and interesting. It is nice to see that the program is doing well at fulfilling it's goal- training newbies to become better hiveans and at the same time, training them to become better versions of themselves. To fulfill it's objectives, the newbies initiative program is loaded with experienced teachers and determined leaders who are always ready to give in their best.
These tasks will help build them in all ramifications. The third task is a very important one. To become a better hivean and to keep yourself on the safer side, you need to know all that is there to know about hive keys and security. The third task is about hive keys and security. In this aspect, hive can be compared to our cellphones or bank accounts. Do you keep your cellphone unlocked (without password)? Or do you write down your bank details (including the pin and everything) and paste them carelessly? No! Because there are important details there that you need to store in a safe place. Sadly, two of my students account got compromised before they started this program. I'm sure if they've done this task, they would've been on a safer side. When I joined hive newly, I almost fell for a phishing link. Thanks to my friend who warned me. As I said earlier, this task is very important, and I'm glad the students of the newbies initiative program are well equipped with necessary informations.
It is the duty of the team leaders to access team members and put down a weekly report. On this note, I welcome you all to the report of the third task.
As I said earlier, the theme of the third task is hive keys and security. Before the meeting, we provided the newbies with necessary materials that'd give them a better understanding about the topic. We also had a meeting in the smile discord channel.
and
were all there to share their knowledge. Newbies that were having doubts about a certain aspects were given the opportunity to ask questions.
There are 11 members in my team. Since the beginning of this program, 5 of them haven't been active. I have six active students in my team. Sadly, out of the six of them, two students missed the third task. and
are part of my active students, so I'm sure they have a valid reason for missing out on this task.
attempted task 3 while
once told me she wouldn't be very active due to school/exams, so I'm guessing that's the reason she missed task 3. Stay strong and stay focused. The truth is that it gets harder, but I'm sure you'll overcome if you stay strong and focused.
