Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 185, Edition 03 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the third topic for this week, which is “THE ALIEN PLANET”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “KIDS AND PRIVACY”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community sharing their thoughts on privacy and how much of it a kid should get. For many, this is not a one-size-fits-all issue because each kid comes with their unique blueprint for being raised.
We got to see that deciding how much privacy the child gets can be tricky because you don’t want to give them too much or give too little. You simply want to do enough without being overbearing, letting them learn independence while also being under the protective gaze of their parents. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w185e2; tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors, will be listed below.

OPEN DOORS, CLOSED CONTROLS: PARENTING IN PARADOX by
This author told us that many children may never get to fully understand what privacy really is. And in the world of today, children are quite defenseless in the face of the dangers that plague humans. Having an open-door policy in the home might not be enough to shield them from the dangers that are present on their smartphones that can be accessed through the internet. And as parents and guardians, we have a duty to stay alert at all times for their sake.
THE CONFLICT OF OPEN DOORS TOWARDS THE LITTLE ONES by
For this author, she tells us that if indeed kids need privacy, we have to provide it for them in the proper way because in the long run, they only need the appropriate amount of freedom depending on their stage in life. The best way to get them to be independent is to teach them how to handle the freedom that comes with being independent. That would be a good way to set them up.
For this author, he told us that privacy is a valuable tool for growth. One of the best ways to handle this is by having a dialogue with them, and the process of gaining that privacy will be a gradual one, not suddenly heaped upon them.
All of the above contents were supported by our official curation account lazy-panda with an extra amount. The first 3 authors will receive 100 ECENCY Points [ Sponsored By Ecency Team (

But then, we have some honorable mentions listed below:
