So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “THE PERFECT WORLD”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “I MET AN ANGEL”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us about their encounters with kind strangers. Many times, when we find ourselves in desperate need of help, we come across strangers who are moved to help us. And they do so with no strings attached, just for the sake of doing good.
We got to see that for many people, meeting kind strangers is not such an isolated incident, because for many of us, at one time or the other, we’ve met strangers who did us a kind act which really helped us out. It has been a reminder that indeed, there is hope in the world, and it’s not such a dark place after all. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.

And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us about how he was on his way home from a night shift at midnight, walking a really long distance, and wearing himself out. But when he thought he was tired and done, a stranger approached and gave him a lift, cutting what would have been a really long journey shorter for him.
*For this author, he told us about all the times he had received acts of kindness and generosity from strangers and even friends. Growing up and not having a lot had meant having a tough time, but from time to time, people came through for him, and at times, it was nothing short of a miracle.”

For this author, he told us about how a miracle had happened with him. At a time when he was broke and didn’t have much, he gave the little he had out in charity. “If we lived in a perfect world where there was no illness, hunger, or poverty, and every world leader actually cared about their people, would there be a need for individual growth? As kids, we're raised to learn how to deal with life's situations and obstacles that come our way. But when we live in a perfect world without obstacles, do we really need that growth? Or was this world never meant to be perfect to begin with?”
